OK, I know this is a bit late to bring this up but, but you know those little jokes (in text, or in picture), and bashes on the "Super Princess Peach" game? I am PRETTY sure there are some people out here in SA who like doing that, well yanno what? I have seen WAY TOO MANY of these jokes for my liking, and in my opinion, it's OLD. WAY. OLD.
For those of you who don't know the focus on all of these jokes is the emotion element of it all. Princess Peach is able to use her emotions to accomplish certain tasks (i.e. make sprouts grow, burn bridges, and whatnot) because Peach is female, people have joked about her being uptight (or PMSing, that any little thing would set her off, uh, no, that's not the case.
I am PRETTY SURE, 2/3 of the people who joke around don't even know the story, well I'm here to TELL YOU THIS STORY! I have played through this game multiple times, and I can say PEACH IS NOT THE ONLY "EMOTIONAL" ONE IN THE GAMEvarious enemies are also seen in an emotional state (green koopas sometimes can be seen in an angry state, while red koopas can be seen happy) 2/3 of the enemies you encounter, you may encounter later in an emotional state. Even Bowser HIMSELF acts a little emotional during the final battle.
OK, now, getting to the story half. IF You've played this game you would know the game is set on an island called "Vibe Island". Yes, VIBE Island. Princess Peach WAS NOT PMSING, NOR IS SHE AN EMOTIONAL TRAINWRECK! Unlike the enemies seen on the island, Princess Peach is able to CONTROL her emotions using them whenever she NEEDS them. Call it very good acting.
If I recall there's also mention, and use of a "Vibe Wand" which caused multiple Toads in Peach's Castle to become so emotional as well (again this proves Peach WAS NOT PMSing, or uptight, the mood swings she CONTROLS are all a use of magic found only on Vibe Island)
I know what you're thinking. I'm probably taking this too seriously. FYI, yes I KNOW this is just a video game, but, seriously guys, from what I've seen people have been looking at only half of the picture rather than the whole picture itself and it's ANNOYING. If you're GONNA pick on the game, and character, PLAY THE DANG GAME FIRST!
Eh, ok I'm done...probably did a bad job at proving my point, but I'll let you be the judge.
